Carnival of Disaster - Grand City Carnival

Kira only smiled, "That Rain of spears held a second purpose even if you could manipulate the space around you, you shouldn't be able to escape this easily."

Kira used her necklace again to manipulate the arrows that have fallen around Hiro to negate some and make others grow even larger to create a thick wall of wood that surrounds Hiro's body.

Kira laughed at Hiro, "What now Hiro, If your power is luck, you seem to have run out, hehehe."

Hiro hummed to himself wondering how he can get out of this. He doesn't know how thick the wall is so it is possible for him to teleport into a wall. Knocking it over seemed impossible as the arrow seems too thick into the ground. He could try and scale the arrows but it would take too long and it seemed too steep. He could try and dig out and arround but he had no tools cept his bare hands and he wasn't in the mood for dirtying his hands. Hiro needed a subtile way out that was simple that didn't require alot of work.

He would make it appear as if she expanded the wrong arrows. Since the arrows were where he had been before, he can teleport it away and then teleport is back after he walked through. He knew that he was facing Kira before the arrows became such a wall, so Hiro turned a full 180 degrees and then began to teleport the space there away.

After running through the empty space he had created to outside the wall, he teleported the wall back to where it was. He then walked around the giant wood cylinder until he saw Kira again. He then pointed at the giant arrows and said "This is huge! How did you do this?"

While Hiro was inside the her barrier Kira closed the gap between and was now outside of the front, when Hiro came out of the back she was ready and pressed her hand to Hiro's chest. "Checkmate, using my mark I can expand your heart to a size that would rip your arteries and burst against your ribcage. Now I'll take that information please."

Hiro was amazed at how fast Kira acted but he needed to act with caution now. Hiro then pulled her hand into his coat so she was touching the inside of it. With this, she can't activate her mark's ability. Although doing this meant ths he would be betting that the mark she owns is hers.

Hiro then inched his face closer to Kira's and then said "You have a very interesting mark!" Hiro wanted it. It was useful to a very large extent. Although Hiro doesn't want to steal things, he felt that this was a mark that he couldn't just pass. Also, now that she has scanned his body, unless he can shift his body to another, he would be subjected to her ability again unless he takes her mark away.

Kira didn't want him to have a chance to retaliate, so she quicky used her mark but to no avail.

"Wha....what is going on, you should be dead!" Kira was flustered and quickly kicked up some dust and propagated it into a large cloud to get Hiro to loosen his grip and lose his visibility, giving Kira time to get away and collect her thoughts.

Hina was right. If he really wanted to kill her, then she'd be dead. "Hm..." The fact that Nemo stopped Shadow the first time, meant that he was stronger but only if he really tried. But what would happen if Shadow got stronger? Could he completely take Nemo over then? What do I do? he wondered. He sighed then he looked up at the sun, it was probably about 2 or 3 PM. "Hina... How about we head back to the carnival, we still have a date to finish," he said smiling at her.

"Eh!?" Hina gasped as she wonders if Nemo was serious on the matter. The date was just something Ursela planned out for fun wasn't it? They could've just went out and went their seperate ways before going back after meeting back together. And the whole contest was so Nemo could get the unlimited cotton candy... although since Nemo was the prince, couldn't he just buy all of the cotton candy he wants? Although the whole thought remains that Nemo thinks that this really is a date!

"Ah... Um... O-Okay." Hina replied as she couldn't deny the request of a prince. Although the entire time, she was standing with her knees bent, because she didn't want to dirty the dress more than she already has so her ankles were very sore due to that. As Hina attempted to get up, her sore ankle made her tip causing her to fall head first onto Nemo. When she fell onto Nemo, she felt something soft and wet touching her lips. That something was Nemo's lip as she accidentally pushes him down onto the floor.

Although that feeling was short lived as when they fell, their front teeth banged together as they hit the floor causing pain which numbed out the feeling of their lips touching. Hina pulled face off of Nemo's and used her hand to cover her mouth as she wonders if her teeth were bleeding because of this or worse she could've injured Nemo! Although another thing Hina worried about was the she had just accidentally stolen a kiss from Nemo and if that was true than that means she had just made a indirect kiss with Abyss!

Hiro facing a percular situation begins to wonder on something. If she could make such a threat to him only after she touched him, it means that it was impossible before. That means that it was impossible for her to do such a thing before due to his coat. Meaning her expansion ability sends the signal to expand like waves and his coat blocked the waves from getting to him. So she had to make direct contact with him in order to use her ability.

Hiro didn't want to give her that chance anymore as he wasn't much of a gambler. So he buttoned up his coat and placed his hood on. After, he placed his hands into his coat pocked to make sure she couldn't touch it. "It appears I'm going to need to leave now." Hiro said and then he began to walk towards the exit to the carnival.

Nemo's head swam as their lips touched. When Hina pulled away, he wanted to pull her back in and give her a real one like the one he and Abyss had shared but he didn't. "H- Hina..." muttered Nemo. "C- can you get off please, your hand..." Her hand was resting on his thigh, dangerously close to his place.

"Wah!" Hina said as she got off of Nemo. "S-sorry about that..." Hina tried to find a reason for what has just happened but she was not entirely sure how it came to be. So she tried to dodge the topic by saying " Um... Er...We should start going..." Hina paused as she was not sure where she wants them to go. She then looked around for something they could do and then pointed towards the Ferris wheel that was towering in the distance and then continued "Uh... L-let's go on that again... Maybe, if you want to that is."

Nemo got up off the floor and dusted himself off. "Sure," said Nemo, smiling at her. "We can ride whatever you want at the carnival," then he grabbed her hand a led her away.

Meanwhile, Raegis writhed on the floor as his spine regenerated. It was a painful experience since all the nerves had to reconnect themselves. "Raegis..." said his brother, Caedis as he hovered above him.

"Brother... I'm sorry I failed..." apologized Raegis. Suddenly he was tugged off the ground by some force and made to stand. He hobbled slightly but managed to not fall.

Caedis smiled at his brother. "Do not worry, we'll get him next time," said Caedis as he allowed his brother to throw his arm over his shoulder. "We're going back to masters he has new treats for us."

Raegis nodded and allowed his brother to help him limp away.

Hina walked with Nemo back into the carnival grounds as she realizes that she still didn't claime Nemo's sword. She wasn't exactly sure how to apologize for her blunder so she walked with Nemo silently towards the Ferris wheel once again. She occasionally glanced upward and start apologizing she wasn't sure if her words were right for a prince. She needed some sort of bribery to qwell his anger.

So as they were walking, Hina would also occasionally glance at the other stands hoping to find the perfect present for Nemo. But what gift at the fair grounds could a poor girl like her give to the prince who has everything?

Eventually they arrived at the Ferris wheel and Hina couldn't find anything that she could buy for Nemo that Nemo couldn't get by himself. She felt horrible as not only has she failed to claim Nemo's sword, she has failed to find him a gift. As the Ferris wheel's cars began to move, Hina felt that it would not be as embarassing to apologize to him here than in the streets of the carnival.

Hina tipped her head as she faced downward and then began to say "I-I'm sorry..." and then suddenly she felt depressed as she couldn't help Nemo at all. She was useless to him. Even in the previous fight with Raegis, she needed Nemo's help to defeat him. She couldn't even win against Abyss in the contest of love. Tears began to flow down Hina eyes and hit the floor of the car, but she continued looking downward to hide her face as she continued "I-I'm useless... I can't do anything for you..." . she sniffled while bitting her lip to try and stop the tears from falling.

Without speaking, Nemo moved across the car and sat down next to Hina. Then he wrapped an arm around her a pulled her closer. "You're not useless," said Nemo, smiling and resting his chin on her head. "As long as you're here by my side, that's enough for me."

Embraced by Nemo's warmth, Hina felt somewhat comfortable and safe within Nemo's arms causing her tears to stop. Although Hina realized her face must be red and mucus might be emanating from her nose because of her crying. She didn't want Nemo to see herself in such a state as it would be very embarassing so she turned her head slightly away from Nemo before replying "O-Okay..."
