First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
September 1st, 792
Suddenly blinded by a flash of light Hina's eyes were closed. When they opened, she sitting down at a desk with other people wearing similar uniforms as her. She then stood up from her seat and walked over to a window and opened it. She could feel the wind in her hair as as gust of wind suddenly flew into the window and the campus grounds she had seen many times last year. This was no illusion... she was indeed in Phoenix Magus Academy.
She then walked out the door and looked at the room number. Then from her skirt pocket, she took out a piece of paper. It had her homeroom and schedule on it. She quickly compared her homeroom number to the number on the door plate. It matched perfectly, she was indeed inside her homeroom where she needed to be when she got to school. She then looked around at the other students who were suddenly staring at her.
To them, she would just be a weird girl who just opened the window and the door to their homeroom. She then blushed a bit and silently walked back to her seat. As she awaited her homeroom teacher, she can only wonder who the old lady was.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Jack ran through the gate and into Class 3B. He looked around and didn't find the teacher.
Woo!, I think I made it
Then he felt a tap on his shoulder, reluctantly Jack turned around to notice the teacher.
"Uhh...Hello Pro. Dyne, nice day isn't it", Jack tried to lessen his punishment with small talk.
Pro. Dyne looked at Jack with a grin full of evil, "Why don't you take a seat Jack and after school please stop by my office."
Jack sighs, "Yes sir...", Jack climbed the stairs and sat in an empty seat

Nemo couldn't seem to focus on first day of school at all. Granted it wouldn't matter even if he could focus, he knew already knew everything the teacher would teach. It was just a formality that he was attending school in the first place.
He kept thinking about what the Oracle said, he wasn't the only phoenix and that one of the others was hunting him. Could it have been one of the people he met this morning? No, they didn't seem to have Marks of the Phoenix besides, the Oracle would of told him. If he had to guess, then he figured that it would be the Phoenix of Wind chasing him.
But why? Last time all of the phoenixes were together, she'd worked under Blackwing. Since she was chasing him, that meant that she was working for Whitewing this time around. God dammit! he cursed inside his head. Even if he managed to get away from Windwing somehow, eventually he would have to fight Whitewing. Since he had Blackwing, it meant that it was his destiny to kill Whitewing, just as his ancestor had done five hundred years ago, a task that nearly destroyed the world.
"A prince shouldn't look so stressed," whispered a voice from the seat behind Nemo's. Nemo glanced over his shoulder, there sat a baby-faced teenager about his age with short silver hair. "My name's Nikolas Kaifeng, my friends call me Raptor though."
It took Nemo a while to figure out why the guy had a nickname like that, it must of been because of the bird claw necklace he was wearing. "Well, Raptor, I'm Nemo Seoul but I guess you already knew that."
Raptor nodded, but then glanced at the teacher who was glaring at them. "Professor Noki is staring at us," said Raptor. "Perhaps we should talk later, say after school in the courtyard."
Nemo shrugged, it wasn't like he had anything else to do. "Sure," agreed Nemo. He figured that if he was in a place with people whoever had the Mark of the Phoenix of Wind would be less likely to attack him. He learned later, that that was a horrible mistake.

Rabiel sat through class with a bored expression. All of the stuff being taught was review and anything new was unimportant to Rabiel's mission. After class he would leave to the Library as usual and look up all possible information on always active marks, all the ways he's found require mystical items of great rarity or active training of the mark. Both were out of his reach at the time.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
It was lunch time for Hina's class and she takes the lunchbox she prepared outside of her bag. As she was about to stab it a a fork she remembers that she made a proclamation to not eat meatloaves for lunch to test out her theory involving the old woman. So she decided to save the meatloaf she prepared this morning for dinner instead and went down to the student cafeteria.
After she arrived, she found students in one of the longest lines she have ever seen. Since she always brought her own lunch, she never had to wait in such a long line before. As she waited, she kept trying to peek ahead to see what kind of food the cafeteria was offering.
After several grueling minutes, she finally reached a point where she saw the front of the line but she was met with a surprise unlike any other. It was a buffet. Normally there would be no reason to wait in line for a buffet but this was different. There were several choices but it all revolved around the same main dish which was meatloaf as if this was some sort of cruel act made by god. Realizing that it'd be a complete waste of effort to evade it any longer, she just hopped out of the line and took a seat in the cafeteria and began eating the meatloaf she had prepared earlier.
While she was eating she began to wonder how she will be able to find the prince in such a large school. Although shouldn't have been hard. Everyone knows which room the prince was in, after all he was the prince and everyone knows. It was outdated information, so all she would need to do is ask a teacher or random student which room the prince was in and she'd find out but it'd be quite embarrassing to ask for information that everyone else knows.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
After school, Nemo followed Raptor outside to the courtyard. The courtyard was basically a gigantic square with a garden in the center, surrounded by the school on all four sides. Four paths came out from each side and led straight to the middle of the courtyard. "You know, I really like this school, the people here are really nice," said Raptor, looking back at Nemo as they walked.
"You think that?" asked Nemo. Honestly, Nemo never really thought about it. He was the Vice-President of the Discipline Committee so the only people he saw were the academy's worst. "I suppose," agreed Nemo. The more he thought about it, the more Nemo thought Raptor was right.
"It really is a shame," said Raptor as they stepped into the courtyard garden. Raptor took another step and then turned around to face Nemo and pulled his left hand out of his pocket and showed the back to Nemo. "That I have to destroy it now... Right after I kill you."
Alarm flooded Nemo as the Mark of the Phoenix of Wind began to glow on Raptor's hand. Nemo turned and tried to run from Raptor but the wind picked up and formed a barrier around the garden, trapping both Raptor and Nemo inside.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
After school was over Hina walked over to her teacher and asked "Do you know what room the prince is in?" in a soft voice.
"Hm? Can you speak a little louder?" her teacher asked.
"Which room is the prince in?" Hina asked again but with a slightly louder by still inaudible voice.
"I still can't hear you." her teacher replied.
Hina then inhaled a deep breath and then said "Wich roo-" before being interrupted by with several coughs due to a clog in her throat due to the breath she took in.
"Oh my, were you sick!?" questioned the teacher in surprise.
"No, I'm fine. I ne-" replied Hina after clearing her throat
"No, you were barely able to speak before and then you were coughing for air! You need to get to the nurse's office!" exclaimed the teacher. She then places her arms on Hina's shoulder and says "Let's go, I'll escort you."
"No I'm fine, I just need to see the prince!" exclaimed Hina and then she realizes the words she just spoke and took a look around. Some of the students were either not listening at all or laughed a bit. Hina then looked down as her face began to turn bright red.
The teacher then places her hand on Hina's forehead and says "Oh my, you're burning up! I can't let you go to the prince. You need to see the doctor more!" and proceeds to nudge her trying to make her move.
Hina then took off the teacher's hands from her shoulders and then to run out the room. She didn't need the information from her teacher, she could just ask for it from another student and after rounding the corner, she met with another student. Luckily she managed to get the information without a hitch this time and ran to the prince's homeroom. Unluckily he was not there and she decides to ask another student and it appears he overheard the the prince going with another classmate to the courtyard. Hopefully no rumors will spread based on these events.
Hina runs down the hallway and the stairs hoping to be able to make it before he leaves. Just as she opens the door to the courtyard garden, a huge gust of wind blew her direction pushing her back in and closing the door. What was going on out there she wonders as she peers out the window and sees the prince with another person.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Nemo turned around to face Raptor. "I won't let you touch this school, it was made by my ancestors," said Nemo, drawing his sword. A black flame engulfed the blade.
"Oh really?" asked Raptor. Suddenly, the barrier lashed out at the school, destroying a good portion of one of the walls. The students stand behind it and in front of it barely dodged the falling stones. "Woops," laughed Raptor.
"Stop it! You're gonna hurt someone!" shouted the Prince, charging towards Raptor. Nemo swung his sword horizontally as he ran and a blade of darkness shot out towards Raptor only to be deflected by a large gust of wind and pushed into the barrier before disappearing. Then, when Nemo was within striking distance of Raptor, a whirlwind lifted Nemo off his feet and launched him into the barrier.
"Oh, I didn't peg you to be the kind to care about who gets caught in the crossfire," admitted Raptor.
"Unlike you, I'm not a monster," retorted Nemo. He couldn't go all out with Raptor, mostly because he didn't want to risk hurting an innocent bystander.
"That was harsh, but true," Raptor agreed. "Here let me show you just how much of a monster I am," said Raptor, glancing around the courtyard until he spotted a young girl cowering against one of the walls. He made a swishing motion with a hand and the girl instantly froze. Then, a second later the girl's head fell to the ground.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Hina watches as one of her fellow female student's head fell from her shoulders. Although she did not know who she was, felt pity for her and then looks back at the two fighting. She shouldn't just stand behind the glass door and do nothing but that was the only thing she could do. If she tries to go out, the wind will push her back inside but there must still be something that she could do.
By not using her full potential during her grading she attain a rank of C but seeing as no one is around it was the perfect opportunity. She then began to walk along the wall looking for a good spot.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Something inside Nemo snapped at that moment. "I'll kill you!" screamed Nemo at the top of his lungs. The prince pushed every ounce of energy he had into his blade and then jammed it into the ground as Raptor was laughing. A black ring appeared on the ground, surrounding Raptor and then a column of black light shot up from the ground, obliterating everything inside of it and leaving a crater where the ring used to be.
Nemo fell to his knees, breathing heavily. He couldn't move but at least it was over, there was no way that Raptor survived that, even if he was a phoenix. Suddenly, the wind picked up behind Nemo and he froze. No, it can't be, he couldn't of.
Raptor whistled. "That was a nice trick you did there. If I hadn't of activated this, I probably would've been dead," said Raptor.
Using his sword to push himself off the ground, Nemo turned to face Raptor. Green lines shone all over Raptor's body and two tornado-like wings had sprung out of his body. "You... bastard..." breathed Nemo, exhausted.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
After school Jack walked to Pro. Dyne's office like he was told that morning. When he arrived another teacher handed him a note saying that Jack should head over to room 2F for study hall and to bring his notes on his Mark.
Damn, he's probably going to make me write a paper about the uses and weaknesses of my Mark
When Jack arrives he see's a room of familiar faces and a few first years who he will probably get to know in the next year. He walked up to the teacher in charge and told him that Pro. Dyne sent him. The teacher handed told him to write a report on the his power's weakness and how to overcome it. Jack sat in a random seat and begins to think about his dream while scribbling some BS on the paper.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Upon walking along the wall Hina thought it'd be best to eliminate both phoenixes. With two of them gone, the prophecy won't come true. She then places the palms of her hands on the wall and creates a hole for her to peek out of. She can clearly see the two and the phoenix users are distracted with each other. There is plenty of material she can use to create stuff to attack with.
Hina then with a gesture similar to pushing the wall, the sides of the wall from the window receded towards her and then multiple blades shot out towards the two. Through the hole in the wall she made earlier, she watches the myriad of concrete blades fly towards the two but then the shield of wind deflected the blades the shot out.
"It seems paper isn't going to work against that wind user." Hina mumbled and then she looks at her hands with one being a clenched fist and a hand with athe index and middle finger pointed outwards while the others are clenched. These are are middle to close range skills, unlike paper which is long ranged, I can't use these two unless I go out there. Hina thought to herself and then realizes it'd be best to wait for a distraction before she go out guns blazing.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Raptor smiled as he approached Nemo, the tornadoes pushed the flowers away as he walked. "Where's your Phoenix, Blackwing?" asked Raptor, stopping only a few feet away from Nemo.
"H- he won't talk to me," admitted Nemo.
"Well doesn't that suck, I was hoping for a challenge but whatever," said Raptor, raising an arm. Wind gathered around his arm, forming a long blade. A sense of hopelessness washed over Nemo and he closed his eyes. It was all over, he was going to die here. "It's time to end this!" shouted Raptor as he brought the blade down to Nemo's neck then stopped, with just an inch to go.
Nemo opened his eyes, Raptor was frozen and his body was shaking. "Sorry hon, but I can't let you kill Ray's descendent," said Raptor in an odd feminine voice. The blade on Raptor's arm disappeared and he returned his arms to his sides and looked up to the sky. Then a small tornado enveloped Raptor for a second and then when it disappeared, Raptor had vanished.
Nemo collapsed to the ground once again and slammed a fist into the ground. It bled a little bit but then healed almost instantly. Tears rolled off his face and into the grass. "Why am I so weak?" asked Ray to no one in particular. It was because of him that a girl was now dead.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Hina looks through the hole she made in the wall and watches as the other phoenix user leave while the prince collapses onto the floor. Looks like it wasn't time for Hina to use her other two weapons and just as she was about to step out to help the prince she stopped in her tracks.
Her only duty was to watch over the prince and she did just that. The scene here is big enough for everyone to know there are two phoenix users in the city at each other's throats and then evacuate. There was no longer a reason to be involved with him anymore.
But her justice wouldn't just let a man just die in front of her eyes. She was sure that other students would eventually come to help the prince very soon as this was a very big scene. She then placed her hands on the wall in front of her and creates a large hole in the wall.
Not sure on why she went out but she walks out and sees the prince looking perfectly fine with no wounds at all. Hina bends down and asks "Do you need help?" as she wonders if there was really a need for her to bring him to a doctor. She watches as tears trickled down his cheek feeling pity for him. Losing to a commoner must have been really painful to a prideful prince. Hina thought.

The girl's kind sentiment only made him cry harder. "I... I don't deserve your help," answered Nemo, his voice cracking as he tried to talk. "It's all my fault, if I'd of been stronger... That girl wouldn't of died!" shouted Nemo, slamming his fist into the ground again.

The prince is a crybaby too! exclaimed Hina in her mind but she figured it would be best if she comforts the prince until more "professional" help arrives. Hina then looks around at the decapitated girl and then the scene around her.
"Hm... It wasn't something you could've prevented." proclaimed Hina. "You're a close-melee range fighter. His long ranged attacks can't be easily repelled by you." she explains.
"It is like fighting paper with rock. You can't win or you couldn't have been able to win." she continues. The phoenix mark can heal wounds of the body but not woulds of the heart. To combat that, I would need to add some salt to the wound to make him jump back onto his feet. Hina thought.
Hina then clears her throat and proclaims "The problem wasn't that you weren't strong enough. You weren't fighting the right way."

Nemo ground his teeth and pushed himself to his feet. Then, he wiped the tears off his face before pulling his sword out of the ground and sheathing it. "Thanks for trying to comfort me," he said as he flashed the girl a semi-sad smile. Inside, he knew that the girl was wrong but he couldn't say it.
Suddenly, a bright flash of light appeared and Nemo found himself standing in an empty white room. The Oracle stood in front of him, and the girl that had tried to comfort him stood beside him.
"Hello again," said the Oracle in a calm voice, directing her attention towards Hina. "Do you still believe that he's," the Oracle gestured to the Prince. "a spoiled aristocrat that doesn't care about his subjects?"

"I have a different opinion now.", replied Hina and then she looks around the room seeing nothing but pure white. It hurt her eyes a bit being only surrounded by pure white. "Could you change the color of the walls? It's hurting my eyes."

The Oracle snapped her fingers and the color of the walls changed from white to red. "Now then," started the Oracle, directing her attention to Nemo. "I imagine you want to know why Blackwing won't talk to you?"
Nemo nodded. "Of course! If I'd of had his help, I could've stopped Raptor before he killed that girl!"
"Well, the reason Blackwing won't talk to you is because he can't talk to you," said the Oracle. "He's been sealed away, making your mark rather incomplete."
"Who sealed him away?" asked Nemo. Who could possible of had the power to seal a Phoenix away?
"Who else? Ray Seoul, his previous owner," answered the Oracle. There had been nothing in the text books about Ray sealing his mark spirit. "He did it because he was afraid of it's effect it had on people."
"So why don't you just tell me where the seal is so I can break it?" asked Nemo.
"I can't, Ray found a way to hide the seal even from me. I can't help you there," admitted the Oracle.
Nemo bit his lip. "Then what do I do? If Raptor hadn't stopped when he did..." Nemo gulped. "I'd be dead."
"That's why I summoned you guys here for, I needed to introduce you two to someone, someone who can help you both of you with your 'dilemmas'." said the Oracle.
Nemo nodded. "Of course! If I'd of had his help, I could've stopped Raptor before he killed that girl!"

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Hina watches as the room changes from white to red seeing the glow of the walls stopped hurting her eyes a bit. She then turned her attention back to the old lady and the prince and decided to carefully analyze the words they spoke as they may have a deeper meaning.
She then placed her hand on her chin and start developed several thoughts on the current situation. The first being that the prince's mark won't talk to him because the previous owner Ray Seoul sealed it away. Although the fact that he did it five hundred years ago and the seal still works fine means it must have been pretty well made to withstand the test of time.
Although this doesn't help her in the slightest in understanding why her mark isn't talking to her. From her memory, she remembers that her parents are markless and gave birth to her with a mark. The only conclusion that she can come across on why she couldn't speak with her mark was that it most likely didn't belong to her and her parents acquired it for her somehow. Although if Hina follows along with the old lady or prince, she might discover why her mark won't speak with her either.
Although the fact that the spirit of the mark can be sealed away is rather troublesome. Who or what has the power to seal away a legendary mark such as a phoenix mark? If such can be done to legendary marks, the same must be able to be done to normal mark users like her. If the demon king has someone who can seal away the spirit of a mark, she would need to know how to combat them but it wouldn't matter if in the end she still can't speak with her mark's spirit.
Continuing along their conversation she hears their conversation, the Oracles mentions the weirdest thing which was that she doesn't know where Ray hid the seal. The weird part being that she simply cannot travel back in time to observe where Ray hid it or go into a future where Nemo would find it. Another is that she didn't go back in time and read Ray's mind to figure out where he hid it. Even if he doesn't plan to think about where he hid it ever again, he will subconsciously think about it in order to remember where he hid it and the old lady could simply find the location at that time. Could this mean that This means that her power can't be time travel or the ability to see into the past or future.
Upon reaching the present, she hears the old lady mention someone who can solve her and the prince's dilemmas. That would be rather convenient as it would benefit her goals. "Who exactly is this person and how would he or she help us?", questioned Hina curiously.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Someone placed a hand on Nemo's and Hina's shoulders. "I don't like being talked about as if I'm not here..." said a man dressed in a black suit with a cleanly shaven face and short cropped brown hair. "I am Sapien of the Dragon, it's nice to meet you, especially you prince."
Nemo's eyes drifted to the man's right hand on his shoulder and saw the Mark of the Dragon. Immediately, Nemo shook the man off, drew his sword and swung his blade at Sapien. Nemo felt a sharp pain in his hands as soon as his sword struck Sapien's skin. It felt like he'd hit a wall. "I don't trust dragons," growled Nemo.
"And yet you trusted some random kid who sat behind you?" asked Sapien, referring to Raptor. "I understand that your family's previous experience with dragons wasn't quite pleasant but I assure you I'm not like the rest of my brothers."
"Fine," submitted Nemo. He knew how it was nearly impossible to harm a dragon. "What is it that you want from us?"
"I want you two to join my little club, if you do I can help you find Blackwing," offered Sapien.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Hina jumped a bit when Sapian placed his hand in surprise. When she regained her composure, she looked back at the man behind her. He looks like a business man from her point of view and had a clean look but that could just be a ruse to hide his dirty nature.
Hina observed Sapien's behavior and noted that he know that the guy from the before sat behind Nemo. How did he know that? The only way he could have known is either he saw it somehow, someone told him, or that he knew that he would sit there. She became tempted to question this but stopped herself as he could be dangerous for he is a dragon.
Hina notes that he mentions his brothers. This means that he must be aware of what they do. The dragons are alive somewhere and he knows of them. Although he could just be noting of his past brothers but she doesn't have enough information.
When he mentions a entrance to his club, Hina had several thoughts. The first being that he wants to help find Blackwing. How does it benefit a dragon that a phoenix gets stronger? No, it shouldn't at all because this is the prince! Is he that loyal to him that he would help the royal family or does he gain something from helping find Blackwing.
Hina also shook him off and then ran to the prince's side. "This man is hiding alot of things.", Hina notes to the prince. "How does it benefit you that the prince finds Blackwing?" she then turns to questions Sapien.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
"A Magus without the power of his mark spirit isn't much of an ally," answered Sapien. The dragon's honesty surprised Nemo. "Without Blackwing to stop him, Whitewing is free to do whatever he wants."
"I see..." said Nemo. "You want me to kill the Phoenix of Light, right? Just like how Exodus wanted Ray to kill Whitewing 500 years ago, is that it?"
Sapien took a second to think about it. "Yeah that's about right..."
"In that case I have no choice but to refuse," announced Nemo.
A tiny smile appeared on the man's face. "I see, isn't that so regretful." It certainly didn't seem like Sapien thought that it was really regretful. He had to of known Nemo was going to refuse.
Nemo grabbed Hina's hand and pulled her with him towards the Oracle. "Let us out of this stupid room," ordered Nemo.
Just as the Oracle seemed like she was gonna respond, Sapien moved in front of Nemo with blinding speed. "Wait," said Sapien. "Let the girl stay, she might want to join my club at least. After all, I know where the person she's looking for is..."

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Hina observes Sapien and the prince's words and notes a few things. The first being that Sapien wasn't making isn't making any noteworthy actions. It's impossible to tell if he's lying or not based on body gestures but his answer seemed very blunt but it is in fact hiding something.
Hina had several bad premonition if the prince joins his club. One was that if they succeed in freeing Blackwing, the prince will become indebted to them. If the prince can't even scratch the dragon now, there is no guarantee that he can beat him even with Blackwing's help and possibly fear even trying to go against them. Ruling with fear of force rather than force itself. The prince will become their slave if he joins them. Another is that they were going to lure him into their lair and then kill him or use him to ask for a ransom from the king.
Even though the prince mentions Exodus and Ray, she still doesn't remember their history. What happened between those two? As Hina gets more curious about them, she assumes she should visit the library for more information.
Sapien pause is what concerned Hina the most. It was one of his only body expression that was shown so far. It means that he either had to remember who those two were or that she was carefully choosing his words. The proof is he is choosing his words is that his sentence reveals nothing except that he accepts the comparison the prince made.
When the prince announced his decision to refuse, Hina eyes lit up as he is giving up his chance for power. But it could be because he took her previous warning to heart and actually considered refusing. She then sighed a breath of relief for a moment as her fears won't come to fruition.
The small smile that appeared on his face when the prince refused his offer was also noticeable and his words made Hina worried a bit. A smile means many thing such as happiness, joy or amusement while in some cases anxiety. Although it certainly doesn't seem like he was anxious at all. So was he happy that Nemo refused? No, it wouldn't make sense because he would have lost a valuable item that he could've used later on to blackmail the king or a valuable weapon he can use later. But he shouldn't have any more effect on the prince's life since he refused. Right?
When the prince took her by the hand, Hina remembered the time he complimented her and blushed a bit and tipped a down a bit to hide it. Although Sapien stepped in front of them made a offer to her that she wasn't interested in at all. Hina hummed as she places her other hand on her chin and to suggest that she was thinking about his offer. "Sorry but I'm already part of a club.", Hina replies with a smile of her own.
"It's called the Going-Home Club, and it's about time to preform our activities.", she continued. "Also, if you were referring to 'him', everyone knows where he is. After all, the big boss is always sitting and waiting in the most grandeur of locations and the last spot on the map."
She then moves her hand to tug on the prince's sleeve signaling that she wants to leave. It was essential that they leave as quickly as possible due to the fact that there was a dragon in front of them. The deadliest of all beasts.
Although if she had to describe the entire scene, it would be like Sapien was a human on the ground while the prince and herself were birds in the sky. He knew could not go up there and catch the them as he can't fly so he threw bread crumbs on the floor waiting for them to come down to eat it. But they felt the animosity coming the man and didn't fly down to eat it and flew away. Whether the bread crumbs were poisoned or not, they would never know but they passed up a free meal.

Re: First Day of School - Phoenix Magus Academy
Sapien smiled as the Oracle's portal devoured the Prince and the girl. "It went exactly as I expected, he refused," said Sapien. His brother, Exodus, had betrayed the trust of Nemo's ancestor Ray Seoul nearly 500 years ago so Sapien had expected Nemo not to trust him.
"What are you going to do now?" asked the Oracle. Normally she would delve into Sapien's mind but dragons were immune to her powers. They were one of the few beings in the world that could stand on equal ground with her.
"I'm going to wait," answered Sapien. "Soon he'll realize how much he needs my help." A storm was coming and Sapien could see the figurative clouds forming on the edge of the city. While the prince was strong even without Blackwing, he would stand no chance against Whitewing and his followers.
***
It was already the evening when the Oracle sent Nemo and Hina back to the courtyard. It was empty and someone had cleaned up the debris left by Raptor, they'd even repaired the wall and cleaned the bloodstain off where the girl had been executed. "Well today certainly was the longest first day of school I've ever had," admitted Nemo. That typically meant that this year was probably going to be the longest year in his life.

Nemo blushed when he noticed he was still holding onto her hand and immediately let it go. "S- sorry," Nemo stuttered. Despite how he acted, he'd never actually got to hold hands with a girl before. "You can go, I'm sorry you got wrapped up in all this," apologized Nemo.

"It's okay." Hina replied and noted that the prince has the decency to apologize to the commoner such as herself. Hina looked around and notes the time. It was getting late. "I'll be leaving then." Hina continues and then started. to walk home.

"I hope you find whoever you're looking for!" shouted Nemo after the girl before turning and running out of the opposite door. He had to get home, quickly before Ursela sent out a search party for him. As soon as he left the school he realized he never asked what the girl's name was. Whatever, he could easily figure it out tomorrow if he really wanted to know.

Rabiel slams a book shut and hits his head against the table raising the eyes of fellow students and teachers in the library. He then stands up pushing in his chair, taking all of the books he took and slowly walks around the large library putting them in their respective spots. He keeps 2 books with him that seem the most promising to examine in his dorm, Time Based Marks: Abilities and Weaknesses, and Sacred Relics Explained. He heads to the counter to check out the two. The librarian warns him not to cause disturbances like that again and that if he's having problems he should speak to the Nurse or Counselor about them. Rabiel thanks the Librarian for her advice, no matter how useless it was, and heads back to his dorm to study.
